Can I take still photo while recording a video with Nikon Z series?

While movie is being recorded, you can take a photo by pressing the shutter-release button all the way without interrupting the recording. The "Camera" icon will appear flashing at the bottom right of the screen when a photo is being taken.  During each video recording cycle, you can capture up to a maximum of 50*1 x Fine-quality JPEG photos at the selected video frame size each time the shutter release button is pressed regardless of which release mode selected.  Photograph taken while recording a UHD 4K / 3840 × 2160 (~ 8.3 mega pixels) video will have a resolution of 3840 × 2160;  Otherwise, a resolution of 1920 × 1080 (~ 2.1 mega pixels) will be captured from the FHD 1080p video.  This feature is available in both FX and DX image area mode*2.

On the other hand, while the camera is in movie mode but no recording is being done, the camera allows a user to capture*2 a short burst of continuous photos if release mode is set to “Continuous” with no blackout.  Depending on the selected “Frame size and rate”, you can capture a maximum number of high quality still photos as following,
